Wightlink Warriors To Increase Race Diary

The Wightlink Warriors have today accepted invitations for challenge matches against the Somerset Rebels and Exeter Falcons. The Rebels who race at the Oak Tree Arena have invited the Warriors for a challenge on April 8th and with the Vince Mapley memorial on April 7th, it will be a busy period for the Wightlink Warriors and will help settle the team.

Warriors Have A Busy Feb 21st

The Warriors had a busy time recently with on track with the arrival and installation of the air fence but also promoting the Warriors off track at the WSRA Celebration of Speedway at Paradise Wildlife Park and attending the BSPA Fan's Forum in Rugby.

Travel Plus Tours New National League Sponsor

BRITISH Speedway’s third tier is celebrating a major new sponsorship deal for the 2016 campaign. The National League, which this season has been boosted in number to twelve clubs, has secured title sponsorship with long-established tour company Travel Plus Tours.

Neil Vatcher Is The Wightlink Warriors’ Team Manager

It is great news for Warriors fans as Neil Vatcher has been unveiled as the Wightlink Warriors Team Manager for the 2016 season. Neil who has managed in speedway for many years and is also the Team GB Under 21 Manager had already been assisting the Warriors off the track with the team and other managerial tasks.

4tt Teams Announced

April 14th is the date set for best South coast 4TT in years, featuring the Wightlink Warriors, Exeter, Weymouth and Southampton. The meeting will see the Warriors divided amongst the 4 teams mixed in with 8 other riders from the National League. With the pits open to fans from 5:45pm and racing from 7pm, it looks to be an ideal opportunity for our fans to welcome clubs who are all at various points in their efforts to bring back speedway.
